Proud of Kate’s mountain feat

Goldsmith said he was thrilled and 'awestruck' by the Princess of Wales completing the National Three Peaks Challenge — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours — as part of her cancer recovery fundraising for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. He recalled Kate's childhood walks in the Lakes, calling the challenge a return to nature.

An emergency in Ibiza

The 61-year-old revealed he faced a serious health emergency in April 2025 after pausing a weight-loss medication and celebrating his 60th on Ibiza. Eight days after his birthday he became gravely ill and was taken to hospital, where surgeons banded enlarged veins in his oesophagus tied to liver disease. He spent 48 hours in ICU and said the banding likely saved his life.
