From people-watching to a festival premiere

Calling Dzanielle a source of a "Ph.D in people watching," Kargman describes Influenced as a friendly send-up of momfluencer culture. The film co-stars David Krumholtz, Jenny Mollen, Jessica Capshaw and Justin Bartha, and includes cameos from Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon and Drew Barrymore—who was once Kargman's sister-in-law, married to her brother Will Kopelman from 2012 to 2016. Influenced premiered at the Miami Jewish Film Festival in January and opens in theaters May 8.
